1756-CN2RK ControlLogix | Communication Module

The 1756-CN2RK is a member of the ControlLogix 1756 Communication Module series. The 1756-CN2RK is conformal-coated. The ControlNet Network is an open control network that is ideal for real-time high throughput applications. The networks in this module use Common Industrial Protocol (CIP). It combines I/O network functionality and peer-to-peer networks that deliver high-speed performance. The ControlNet Network gives you a deterministic and repeating transfer of all critical control data as well as supporting non-time-critical data transfers. The I/O updates and controller-to-controller interlocking have precedence over uploading and downloading programs and messaging. The Studio 5000 series supports generic ControlNet modules. This module is set up as a generic ControlNet module that deals with the controller for input, output, status, and configuration tags applications.
