Bently Nevada 330876-02-90-00-00 is a 3300 XL 50 mm Proximity Probe that forms part of the 3300 XL 50 mm Transducer System, which consists of a separate 50 mm probe, an extension cable, and a 3300 XL 50 mm Proximitor Sensor. The large diameter coil provides a maximum linear range of 27.9 mm (1100 mils), the longest linear range in the Bently Nevada eddy current transducer line. This series is ideal for measuring differential expansion (DE) and rotor expansion (RX) of large steam turbine generators caused by differences in growth rates between the turbine rotor and the machine stator.
Bently Nevada 330876-02-90-00-00 features an M14×1.5 threaded probe case, a total length of 9.0 meters, and a High Temperature FluidLoc cable. The probe is designed to survive harsh steam turbine DE environments and can continuously operate while maintaining accuracy at temperatures up to 200°C, with intermittent exposure up to 250°C. Front and rear seals, together with the standard High Temperature FluidLoc cable and high-temperature ClickLoc connectors, help prevent moisture from entering the probe tip and keep the connectors free from contamination. The probe tip is made of Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS), the case is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, and the recommended cable type is a three-conductor shielded triad cable.
