The 330881-16-00-385-06-02 is a PROXPAC XL proximity transducer assembly featuring a 3300 XL 8 mm probe without approvals and a probe penetration length of 385 mm. It includes one 3/4-14 NPT fitting, one 3/4-14 NPT to 1/2-14 NPT stainless steel reducer, and two plugs, with a 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread. This self-contained design integrates the probe and its associated Proximitor sensor into a single assembly, eliminating the need for extension cables or separate Proximitor housings. Field wiring connects directly between the monitors and the PROXPAC XL Assembly, simplifying installation and maintenance.
The assembly shares the same design advantages as the 31000 and 32000 proximity probe housing assemblies, allowing easy access and external adjustment of the probe. Unlike previous housings, the PROXPAC XL Assembly incorporates its own 3300 XL Proximitor sensor within the housing cover, providing a fully integrated and reliable proximity measurement system suitable for critical machinery applications.
The housing is constructed from Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS), an advanced molded thermoplastic reinforced with glass and conductive fibers to strengthen the structure and dissipate electrostatic charges effectively. Rated for Type 4X and IP66 environments, the PROXPAC XL Assembly offers enhanced protection in severe conditions, providing durability and long-term reliability in demanding industrial applications.
