B&R X20SI9100 is a safe digital input module designed for safety-related industrial automation systems requiring reliable signal acquisition and monitoring. The module provides 20 safe type A digital inputs together with 4 pulse outputs and operates with a nominal voltage of 24 VDC. B&R X20SI9100 supports configurable software input filters for each channel, allowing adjustment of switch-on and switch-off behavior to improve signal stability and testing gap handling. The module is equipped with LED status indicators for I/O function, module status, and operating condition monitoring through both hardware indication and software diagnostics.
B&R X20SI9100 is suitable for safety applications up to PL e and SIL 3 and supports monitoring of paired input channels for simultaneity evaluation. The module can process signals from safety devices such as E-stop buttons and safety light curtains while allowing configurable discrepancy monitoring between signal pairs. B&R X20SI9100 also provides pulse signals for sensor line diagnostics, with pulse patterns derived from the module serial number and pulse channel number. The module supports line lengths up to 60 m with unshielded cables and up to 400 m with shielded cables and is designed for X20 12-pin terminal blocks with operation in horizontal mounting orientations from 0 to 60°C and vertical mounting orientations from 0 to 50°C.
