Manufactured in the USA, this system provides precise excitation control through true RMS sensing for single-phase or three-phase voltage and current, delivering full generator metering capabilities and ensuring stable and reliable operation in critical industrial and utility environments.
The DECS-250-LN2SN1N features comprehensive automatic regulation capabilities, including Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), Field Current Regulation, Field Voltage Regulation, Power Factor, and var modes. Integrated generator protection functions cover over/under voltage (27/59), over/under frequency (81O/U), reverse power (32R), field loss (40Q), and other critical protections, while additional functions include auto tuning with two PID stability groups, optional integrated Power System Stabilizer (PSS), and configurable protection for optimized performance and system reliability.
This digital excitation control system is also designed for flexibility and expandability. It supports 16 programmable contact inputs, 12 programmable contact outputs, and I/O expansion modules such as the AEM-2020 Analog Expansion Module and CEM-2020 Contact Expansion Module. With advanced features like overexcitation and underexcitation limiting, stator current and var limiting, exciter diode monitoring, trending, oscillography, and sequence-of-events recording, the DECS-250-LN2SN1N provides operators with full control and monitoring capabilities in demanding industrial and power generation environments.
