The Bently Nevada 330180-12-BR 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor is a critical component of the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System, which also includes a probe and extension cable. Constructed from A308 aluminum with gold-plated brass or beryllium copper connectors, this sensor delivers high-precision output voltage directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the measured conductive surface. It accurately measures both static position and dynamic vibration, making it ideal for fluid-film bearing machinery as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurement applications.
The 3300 XL 8 mm system provides advanced eddy-current transducer performance while ensuring full compatibility and interchangeability with all 3300 XL probes and extension cables. With a 1.0 meter (3.3 feet) system length and operation over a temperature range of -52°C to +100°C (-62°F to +212°F), it meets the API 670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability. The backward compatibility with other 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm components allows flexible installation and replacement without the need for individual calibration.
