The Bently Nevada 330908-00-20-10-02-00 and 330908-00-67-10-01-00 are 3300 NSv Proximity Probes designed for centrifugal air compressors, refrigeration compressors, process gas compressors, and other machines with tight installation requirements. As part of the 3300 XL NSv Proximity Transducer System, they work with a 3300 NSv extension cable and a 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor to provide radial vibration and radial position measurements, axial (thrust) position measurements, tachometer and zero speed measurements, and phase reference (Keyphasor) signals. Both models share the same 1.0 m cable length, 0.0 in unthreaded length, operating temperature range of -52°C to +177°C, PPS probe tip, AISI 304 stainless steel case, and gold-plated brass ClickLoc connectors. They are mechanically and electrically compatible with previous 3300 RAM proximity probes and extension cables, while offering increased chemical resistance and superior side-view characteristics for process compressor applications and small target measurements.
The main differences between the two probes are the overall case length and connector configuration. The 330908-00-20-10-02-00 features a 2.0 in case and a standard miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector, making it suitable for installations where compact dimensions are required. The 330908-00-67-10-01-00 has a longer 6.7 in case and includes a connector protector, which helps prevent liquids from entering the ClickLoc connection and adversely affecting the electrical signal. For harsh environments with moisture, oil, or contaminants, the 330908-00-67-10-01-00 is recommended because of its additional connector protection. For applications where space is limited and environmental exposure is less severe, the 330908-00-20-10-02-00 provides a more compact solution while maintaining the same measurement capabilities and 220 N (50 lb) CableLoc pull strength.
