The Bently Nevada 330104-01-11-50-02-05, 330104-01-15-50-02-05, and 330104-01-09-50-02-05 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probes are precision eddy current transducers designed for vibration and position monitoring in fluid-film bearing machinery. Each probe features a stainless steel case (AISI 303 or 304), a PPS probe tip, and a Viton® O-ring seal, ensuring durability and reliable operation in demanding industrial environments. The probes include miniature coaxial ClickLoc connectors with a standard 5 m cable, and come with CSA, ATEX, and IECEx approvals for hazardous area installations.
These 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probes operate with a -24 Vdc power supply and deliver an output voltage directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the conductive target surface. They measure both static position and dynamic vibration, supporting Keyphasor reference and speed measurements. The nominal probe DC resistance is 8.73 ± 0.50 Ω, with an output resistance of 50 Ω and load resistance of 10 kΩ, making the system highly compatible with a wide range of monitoring equipment.
The 3300 XL 8 mm system is fully compliant with API 670 standards for linear range, accuracy, temperature stability, and mechanical configuration. All components—including probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors—are interchangeable and backward compatible with other 3300 series systems, allowing flexible installation and simplified maintenance without the need for individual calibration. The system supports various unthreaded lengths (10 mm) and overall case lengths (90 mm, 110 mm, 150 mm), making it suitable for diverse mounting and space requirements.
