The Bently Nevada 21000-28-05-00-031-01-02 is a CSA Type 4 certified, explosion‑proof housing assembly built for externally mounting 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probes in hazardous areas. It uses a direct mounting design with a 3/4‑14 NPT thread—no standoff adapter—and comes with one explosion‑proof fitting and one NPT plug for secure sealing. The assembly supports a 0.5 m (20 in) probe cable and a 3.1 in penetration depth. It meets API 670 standards and belongs to the same modular family as the 24701 stainless steel and 164818 compact housings, but is intended for standard installation conditions.
