Bently Nevada 330851-04-000-030-10-00-05 is a 3300 XL 25 mm Proximity Probe designed for the 3300 XL 25 mm Transducer System, which consists of a separate 25 mm probe, an extension cable, and a 3300 XL 25 mm Proximitor Sensor. The system provides a 0.787 V/mm (20 mV/mil) output with a 12.7 mm (500 mils) linear range, making it suitable for measuring differential expansion (DE) on mid-size to large steam turbine generators caused by differences in growth rates between the turbine rotor and the machine stator. This model features a smooth 1.06-inch diameter side-exit probe case, 30 mm overall case length, 1.0 m total cable length, no armor, and multiple agency approvals.
The 3300 XL 25 mm probe is engineered for maximum survivability in harsh steam turbine differential expansion environments. It can continuously operate at temperatures up to 200°C (392°F) while maintaining measurement accuracy and withstand intermittent temperatures up to 250°C (482°F). The probe incorporates front and rear seals, together with the standard FluidLoc cable, to prevent moisture from entering the probe tip. It also features high-temperature ClickLoc connectors, connector protectors, and a removable connector collar that simplifies cable routing through tight clearances. The probe tip is manufactured from Polyetheretherketone (PEEK), the probe case is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, and the probe adapter provides 25.4 mm (1.00 in) of vertical adjustment for installation flexibility.
