The Bently Nevada PROXPAC XL Proximity Transducer (P/N: 330880-28-15-048-00-02 / 330880-28-15-027-00-02) is a self-contained proximity measurement solution designed for industrial machinery monitoring. It integrates a 3300 XL 8 mm probe with a built-in Proximitor sensor inside the housing, eliminating the need for a separate extension cable or external Proximitor enclosure. The assembly is built for harsh environments, with a housing made of Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) reinforced with glass and conductive fibers to improve mechanical strength and electrostatic discharge performance. It supports operating temperatures from -52°C to +100°C and storage temperatures up to +105°C, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications.
This PROXPAC XL system is designed for vibration and position monitoring on rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors, and pumps. It provides a direct field-wired connection between the monitoring system and the assembly, simplifying installation and reducing system complexity. With Type 4X and IP66 environmental ratings, it offers strong protection against dust, water ingress, and corrosive conditions. The probe penetration and standoff adapter options (such as 4.8 in or 2.7 in) allow flexible installation configurations to meet different machine mounting requirements.
