It supports 24 VDC nominal input signals with a wide operating range of 18 to 30 VDC, making it suitable for demanding field environments. The module provides fast and normal scanning modes (5 ms and 20 ms), enabling precise time-stamped event capture with SOE resolution down to 1 ms. With optical isolation built into the IOM and galvanic isolation rated up to 1000 VAC RMS or ±1000 VDC, it ensures strong protection between field inputs and control logic, improving system safety and signal integrity.
This module features a low current consumption of 95 mA and is engineered with a 4.2 kΩ input impedance for stable signal detection. It supports 13 VDC (min) / 3 mA ON sensing and 5 VDC (max) / 1.2 mA OFF sensing, ensuring reliable status discrimination across varying field conditions. The input filter and isolation introduce a controlled delay of 5 ms ±20%, balancing speed and stability in SOE applications.
