The ABB SDCS-PIN-H01 3ADT318800R1501 Power Interface Board is engineered for DCS880 converter modules, sizes H1 through H5 (20 A to 1190 A), providing reliable power and control functions for the drive system. It supplies all internal voltages required by the drive and connected options, manages the armature bridge with high-ohmic AC/DC voltage measurement, and interfaces with current transformers to monitor armature current. Additionally, it controls the OnBoard field exciter and measures field current, ensuring precise and stable operation across all supported module sizes.
Designed for flexibility and safety, the SDCS-PIN-H01 automatically adapts auxiliary voltages between 115 VAC and 230 VAC and operates with mains supply voltages from 100 V up to 500 V (IEC), 525 V (UL), and 600 V. It features 1 500 V DC isolation, operates in temperatures from –20 °C to +60 °C, and tolerates 5–95% non-condensing humidity. Power consumption is minimal at 20 VA, while onboard rails provide +5 V DC at 4 A and gate drive signals of ±15 V differential, making it a compact, high-performance solution for industrial drive applications.
