The ABB RBIP-01 3AUA0000030932 BACnet/IP Router Module is a compact snap-on device designed for seamless integration into ABB ACH550 drives for HVAC applications. It fits directly into the option slot on the control board of the drive, providing a lightweight (<100 g) and space-efficient solution while maintaining full compatibility with both current and older ACH550 drive generations.
Equipped with a 10/100 Mbps RJ‑45 Ethernet port and a serial EIA‑485 BACnet MS/TP port, the RBIP‑01 module allows flexible network configurations including bus or star topologies, supporting both half- and full-duplex communication. It also includes network bias and termination resistors (DIP switch configurable), and a 12–26 V DC/AC power supply with internal fuse protection, ensuring reliable operation in environments with 0–45 °C ambient temperature and 20–80 % relative humidity.
The ABB RBIP-01 BACnet/IP Router Module features an internal web server that enables convenient commissioning and BACnet/IP configuration via a PC. Six LED indicators provide clear status feedback (POWER, MS/TP TxD/RxD, STATUS, network LEDs), while the device supports CAT 5 cabling for Ethernet links up to 100 m.
