The Bently Nevada 330880-28-15-044-01-02 PROXPAC XL Proximity Transducer is a fully integrated, self-contained vibration and position sensing system designed for industrial machinery monitoring. It incorporates a 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe with multiple approvals, along with an internal Proximitor sensor built directly into the housing cover, eliminating the need for a separate external Proximitor module or extension cable. The system supports direct connection between field wiring and monitoring systems, simplifying installation and improving overall system reliability.
The PROXPAC XL assembly features a robust housing constructed from ultraviolet-resistant, glass-reinforced polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) thermoplastic with conductive fibers for improved strength and electrostatic discharge control. It offers IP66 and Type 4X environmental protection, making it suitable for harsh industrial conditions. Configuration options include a 1.5 in (38 mm) standoff adapter, 4.4 in probe penetration, and a 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread with fittings and plugs.
